Bill is a therapist working in the York district and via a media platform, offering counselling on a range of issues.
A former chemist, Bill has worked in city, town and country settings as a Priest as well as a in a hospital and prison setting. He has specialised in loss issues and has a PhD from Warwick University in the subject of understanding parental child loss cross-culturally. He has written 12 books on various subjects for children and adults. Bill is a qualified counsellor, supervisor and a chartered Psychologist.
He has qualifications in PGCHE, play therapy, stress management, Hynotherapy, PTSD and traumatic loss issues, pastoral care and supervision of counsellors.
Bill was a chaplain where he lectured on bereavement and counselling issues. Bill has lecturered at Oxford/Cambridge and also internationally. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Bournemouth University and made an Honorary Fellow of the Association of Christian Counsellors.
Bill's hobby is portrait wood carvng where he has won an international competition.
